Veach ain't a dumbass. Why wouldn't the Chiefs be talking to see if a last minute deal can get worked out. Having two $20 million players on the DL is hard to pull off cap wise.

Yeah Veach isn't a dumbass and he knows what Chris Jones wants. If he had no intention of giving him what he wants then why even bother with him?
