Houston at it again

How many picks does Houston have left? BoB is doing something down there, but I can't really call it being a GM.

But... the Rams aren't far behind.

They traded for Peters, Fowler, and Cooks. All of them are gone. They gave big money to Gurley and Goff. Gurley got CUT (not even traded) and Goff was mediocre in the first year of his ridiculous extension. They traded out the ass and PAID for Jalen Ramsey, but they don't seem to realize that a shutdown corner does not a secondary make. They're always in need of draft picks and keep making deals that deny them what they need. Meanwhile, for all the players they trade for, they don't seem to care about keeping them around and building a decent nucleus of stars. They pay the wrong players, get rid of the productive ones, and keep kicking the can down the road. They don't have a first round pick in 2020 OR 2021, either.

Sean McVay is the boy wonder head coach, right? Well, does he know how to pick up the phone, call his GM, and ask him WTF he's doing? Who knows... maybe he's a part of this ****ing mess. In any case, if they don't get a clue, I don't care if McVay really IS all that he's cracked up to be-- he's going to fail miserably and eventually wind up getting fired.

The Rams remind me a bit of the Broncos. They're a giant ****ing mess, but for them the real bad news is they don't realize it yet.
Makes me truly appreciate Veach. The man seems to always go into the draft without a glaring need and make shit happen. This is what the other end of the spectrum looks like.

He also chose to give Hitchens a dogshit contract.

I would say it's worse to trade for a player with the intent of building the team around him and then letting him walk. Or how about paying a RB top money when he finished the season a little bit gimpy, and then just flat out cutting him?

Veach has given out a couple bad contracts and whiffed on a pick or two. However, all of Veach's "mistakes" are still with the team, and they will be starters/contributors in 2020. All of the Rams' mistakes cost them money, draft picks, AND they don't even ****ing play for them anymore.

Les Snead may have built up that team into a Super Bowl contender, but he's done a pretty damn good job at making his team a directionless franchise that looks like it doesn't know WTF it's doing.

Well that and he's so concussed that you could probably convince him that he agreed to a paycut.

He is pennies cheaper than Hopkins, not nearly as good, and cost a 2nd rounder.

The only thing this real does is it does give Houston a really fast WR group, it's injury prone though.
