Good pick. My teams did not have the need. Phillips was one of 3 guys that I considered to be top 100 players who were still on the board to start this round. One left who has yet to be picked in this draft...

Strongly considered him for the Saints. Went CB instead. I'd be happy seeing him in red next season.

The Green Bay Packers select Davion Taylor, LB, Colorado

Taylor is the 2nd CU Buffalo the Packers have drafted. No, I'm not a CU homer. I have zero connection to that place other than they used to be in the Big 12.

Packers get a very nice high upside player at this point in the draft. It will be a bit of a puzzle for them to figure if they want him inside or outside. Very raw, not much experience, but seems like a good kid. They'll throw everything at him and see if he takes to playing inside or outside-- the Packers could use both.
