Eva Cassidy was one of the sadder relatively recent tragedies in music. She's really got some great, haunting stuff. Loved her version of Time After Time (how I originally discovered her: it was prominent in an episode of the TV series Angel about 15 years ago). Over the Rainbow, Wonderful World. Pretty much everything she did was great in some way. But almost nobody knew anything about her until long after she died.
