Still looks ****ing amazing.
In all of literature, sympathetic villains are the very best kind, Mr. Superturtle.

Othello, Shylock, Macbeth ... or say, Karla from the Smiley novels. They each had some sort of heartbreak, enigmatical love, or other relatable rationale as a motivation for their evil deeds.

The best antagonists have an incentive that stimulates audience empathy. Except for, perhaps, that Mr. Black Bob guy ...

Backstory-based movies like The Joker have so much potential and this guy can masterfully develop every last part.

You know, out of all those movies, the only one I kind of liked was Gangs of New York. But I've had no desire to go back and watch it again.

Your feelings toward Scorsese are akin to finding out that Phillip Gaines was your favorite player when he was on the Chiefs. It’s just not going to easily compute for many people here.

You're making me hate James Bond, . . .

I haven't loved every single Scorsese movie. He often delves into subjects that aren't high on my personal interest list. But I've respected every single one, most more than other movies I 'enjoyed' more.

Tell me you at least appreciate the craft.

I go to a movie to be entertained not depressed. I get that many of you love those movies and thats great. I can appreciate that you enjoy the subject matter that he puts out. You have to remember, not everyone is the same and what speaks to you doesn't always speak to others.

I've never really felt entertained when watching his movies. If that diminishes me in peoples eyes, well, ok then. I'm over it.

I'm also sorry I told you I thought your favorite player might be Phillip Gaines. That was admittedly a little harsh.

Clearly his favorite was Cassel. He explicitly said he watches the NFL for entertainment, you know chuckles and snickers, not stress and stakes.

The budget is reportedly $55 million . Expect a big profit for Warner Bros and DC comics here .

I' m really really hoping this film delivers the goods and after seeing the trailer a number of more times , I honestly think it will. For one, Joaquim Phoenix is VERY selective with the projects he chooses (esp at this stage of his career). Really hyped for this film!

Margot Robbie got naked in Wolf of Wall Street. That speaks to EVERYBODY.

I can see not picking up the art-ier side of things. And certainly you have to be in a mood for some of them (the Departed for one). But you ought to give some of those films a rewatch with an objective mind. Most of them offer some really good stuff.
