That's the thing here - the Broncos are going to have to pay him quite a bit more than I'd be willing to do in order to keep him from simply giving them the bird and waiting for the Ravens to cut him.

If he refuses to renegotiate his deal at all, the Ravens will just release him and he can hit the market then pick/choose his preferred destination. In order to convince him not to do that, Denver's gonna probably have to give him a similar deal to what they gave Keenum.

This is just hilarious.

They were 6-10 last year. They're already bad enough.

He costs the Broncos 18M this year, then 20M, then 24M.

Now if they leave the contract alone they can get out of it every year. But they probably will extend him at a reduced rate which will be a huge mistake IMO.

He's 34. What an awful decision.

You guys make jokes, but the Broncos just got better for next year. I'm hoping that the trade going the other way will cripple them in draft choices.

I'm not saying that Joe Flacco is awesome, but he's better than any QB they have had play for them since Manning and he will be able to lead the offense.

Really hope they gave up a 1st and they have to eat his contract.

So our only competition for the foreseeable future is the Chargers who play in a soccer stadium.

Have you watched Flacco play the last couple of seasons? He's a shell of his former self, which was a high-end game manager at best anyway.
