Now, if Broncos are trading for him because he has some talent (he was the #2 pick for a reason) and Payton thinks he can mine that out of him, well that make sense.

But THAT very much means Payton is putting his QB legacy on the line here, since people still question whether he was really responsible for HOFer Brees.
I haven’t seen the details on what they are paying on the contract… can’t wait for Perna’s reaction video.

Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson! How exciting, what an incredible battle this will be for the starting job! Two alphas with strong NFL resumes duking it out to see who comes out on top! Riveting!!

I wonder if they are acknowledging they won't be able to get a QB they want in the draft.

When Bo Nix is your realistic “best case option”… that’s not a very good situation to be in.

All of those fluke wins they amassed last season by getting 4+ turnovers… coming back to haunt them now with their draft position… and with limited resources to move up.

Zach Wilson is pure trash, I watched many games where I would be hoping he would improve but he's just trash I'm telling you.

The only time I've ever seen him look serviceable was when he played us last year. Which is odd because our defense was ****ing good.

I just assume they're throwing numbers at it but I shouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt at this point.
