2) I'm assuming the shafts are CS-Lite? Those are good shafts. Again, a really good deal. FWIW, you may be able to find new i10s or even i5s for that price or lower at a local shop. |

Why don't driving ranges have grass around here yet? Who wants to hit off of mats? Worthless.

The worst thing about hitting off of mats isn't the turf, it's the fact that I can never find a tee of a suitable length for my driver. They are either 5" off the ground for hackers who top everything or 1.5", which makes it too tall for fairway woods and too short for a driver.

Personally, I can tell you where I hit every ball based on how it feels 1/10 of a second after impact. Unfortunately, I've played at enough munis to where I've had few other options when I've warmed up. Right now, the course where I usually hit balls has octagonal mats, which can actually make it difficult for you to take a full stance. Sound can also tell a huge amount, especially on iron shots. |

Anybody watching The Memorial? This Rickie Fowler lad is blowing away the field. He's 21 but looks 17.
And he's hitting everything square. Looks like he feels no pressure at all. |
