Well, your vote doesnt count. Jorge Posada spent one year on the ballot because he didn't even get the minimum number of votes for a 2nd year. If Posada isn't getting HoF votes, Perez sure as shit isnt.

'Framing' is the biggest crock of shit ever. Thankfully, it will go the way of the do-do here in a few years when the automated strike zone becomes a thing and be forgotten forever. |

Jim Edmonds being a similar case as Posada. Timing is everything, too. We've seen candidates get 10% on their first ballot and gain momentum by the time they are in year 10 of eligibility. Even if Sal gets up to 40% on the last writer's ballot like Fred McGriff, he'll get seen by the Era Committees that have more players on them and he's a highly respected guy among the player group. McGriff was revered by baseball people, that's why he is in. I think Perez's HOF case will be long and drawn out but I wouldn't say never on him. |

Well with another couple of decent seasons Perez will have surpassed most of Posada's career numbers aside from OBP which he'll never reach.

Posada's entire batting line is better, not just OBP. Posada was also equally as bad at framing, yet he sits at 40 fWAR. Perez is going to fall well short of that mark. Whether or not you want to agree with it, WAR is becoming a major stat when it comes to who is HoF worthy with voters.

Alright boys, now that the World $erie$ is over, free agency can start.
Trade candidates Donovan? Baty? Helsley? Fede? Free agents? I still think Soto is too good not to pitch a deal with a structure that overlaps with BWJ. Timely options might be appealing to Soto's agency. Whatcha got? |
