For those of you liking Pearsall in the second, this is from Arrowhead Addict's mock draft. FYI for those who said OT in the first, they also took BYU OT Suamitaia in the first
A Senior Bowl standout, Ricky Pearsall is quickly rising up draft boards. He spent his first 3 seasons at Arizona before transferring to Florida this year where he had his best season yet. A complete route runner and separator, Pearsall is know as "slicky Ricky" by teammates for his knack to get open. He has above average straight line speed and excellent hands. At 6'0", 190 lbs., he's not winning most contested catch situations, but that's not his profile. The Chiefs are likely not a single WR away from being an elite offense but Pearsall makes it much easier to see. Andy Reid offenses have always utilized average sized WR who create space and that's what Pearsall does. He makes a nice intermediate target for Patrick Mahomes who can beat man coverage. |

If not Franklin in the 1st, I'm on board with going DL or OT in the 1st and WR in the 2nd.
Personally, I'm a Legette fan. |

Is lack of top end speed the only reason Pearsall doesn’t have a first round grade?

I mean if you're not a top 5 guy in your position group, you're probably not getting a 1st round grade. You may still go in the 1st due to positional need and/or the depth of the class but that isn't going to get you the 'grade' into the 1st. He's a fine prospect he's just not as good as several other guys, IMO. |

Depends on how you view it and what happens in FA. It reads like we're not re-signing Gay and we'll see if we get Tranquill back. If not either, then what? Also, Bolton is a FA in 2025, and if he ends up deserving a bag then I think I'm letting him walk. I'm keeping my mind open on it, at least for now.

Alot of parallels between Van Jefferson and Ricky Pearsall if you look at size, speed, production, transfers, etc. The difference between the two is that Pearsall may end up being smarter (Van only had a 12 on his Wonderlic iirc). Jefferson went at 57.

I like Ruke a lot, but I am very intrigued by the potential of Kris Jenkins. He certainly has the pedigree, and lately siblings and offspring of NFL players have been hitting more often than not. Also, he seems like an athletic freak.
But, I think they would both be great picks. I know he isn't a DT, and will be gone before our second pick (and maybe our first pick) but I bet Spags could do a lot with Darius Robinson. He is really versatile. |

2nd round chatter should probably be heating up right now considering Chief's declared they're open to a tag and trade for Sneed...

Any thoughts on the freak athletic OT from BYU Kingsley S.? Especially if we can get a lower 2nd than what we have in a Sneed deal.
Seems like he has incredible upside. Maybe get a FA OT as insurance. |

After watching him, and reading about him from lots of different places, I think he is probably going to have some eye popping numbers. A couple of different articles I read said that he could have a Tristan Wirfs type of workout at the combine. |

If we can't get one of top tackles in the first, there are a couple of guys I think we could get in the 3rd thru 5th round that would be great pickups. Javon Foster from MU, or LaDarius Henderson from Michigan both have a ton of potential. I would love to get either of those guys. Christian Jones might be a decent late round pick. |
