I always assume there is something the coaches see that we don’t to justify some of these odd decisions. These two moves seem pretty obvious given the early returns of the season.

I think they just thought they had something more in Jarran Reed. He's been a huge disappointment. Should've just used that money to sign an actual DE and kept Jones inside.
