I don't have it and I do fine, if you have a laptop and an HDMI cord along with an amazon fire box and kodi you'll be fine.

That sounds way too complicated. BTW, I do have a laptop but it seems to have just crashed the other day. I'm contemplating whether I even need it. I rarely used it these days.

I signed up for the free trial of YouTube TV. They just made it available for my market. I was thinking of having it and Sling TV. Only reason for doing Sling is NFL Network and Food Network (for the wife). I also recently started watching a series on ID called Body Cam but I could live without that. Wife watches a lot of Food Network but she said she could live without that if it means we could save some bucks. But I am not gonna go without the chiefs games that are on NFL Network. I haven't been able to find them anywhere else that isn't a TV service such as Directv. Anyone got any suggestions. I thought I saw something about being on Xbox. Is that true?

I think PlayStation Vue might have NFL Network. NFL Network doesn't have many exclusive games anymore. Most of them are also broadcast on a local channel. I want to say last year it was just weeks 2,3 Thursday and the 3rd thanksgiving game that were NFL Network exclusive.

Are you not in the KC viewing area or something? Cause every Chiefs game was on YoutubeTV the last 2 seasons. NFL Network is only available with Sling, DirectTV Now, or Fubo.

Hulu with LiveTV is good other than NFL Network. It's very similar to YoutubeTV, and they include Food Network and HGTV.

I'm in Topeka. I have been reading up on it and all the NFL Network games were broadcast on locals. So I would be able to watch them. YouTube TV has my locals plus I also have an antenna. I decided to go with YouTube TV because the channels are mostly what we want and also the unlimited DVR. I wanted to try Hulu but am having trouble signing on. I don't know if I had signed up in the past but I tried the send password reset to my email and I got nothing. The other day I had tried to access their site from work and it wouldn't come up at all.

If you're in Topeka, then you'd get all Chiefs games through YoutubeTV for sure. Same for Royals. In YoutubeTV, search for Kansas City Chiefs, click the "+" button to record, and it will record all Chiefs games.

Hulu is proving to be a good alternative at the moment. They currently have more channels. But the DVR is limited and there's several other limitations. Not sure what you'd have to do to fix your account. Likely have to contact them or create a new one.
