So here ya go.

I’d be fine with seeing Chad Henne march out there on the opening drive.

Do you all want a top notch product on the field?
The only way to have that product is to practice and play the preseason games. They already practice less and play less time in preseason games.
So when teams look bad and make basic mistakes it is because of not playing and practicing like they should.

i forget what team it was - maybe the broncos with manning or the patriots - but a few years ago one of them took almost no snaps in preseason and lit it up week one.

Preseason is dumb for elite teams and not necessary most of the time.

Rams didn’t play any starters in preseason last year or this year.

You mean when Manning was injured....That is one player with an injury.
I tend to agree with CC in the following video.

This shit doesn't matter. Last year, I was in Chicago and watched our starters play the backup Bears d for a half and we scored 10 points.

Just don't get injured.

That is right I don't want them to get injured, but I want them to be ready for the season.

Although I will say that our d should get some reps since it's a completely different scheme and a lot of new pieces in place

In his Broncos debut—an eventual 31-3 win over the Bears—Manning barely played, going 4-for-7 for 44 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. In his next outing, a 30-10 loss to the Seahawks, he played a bit more, but his numbers were equally uninspiring: He went 16-for-23 for 177 yards, zero touchdowns (again) and two more picks.

So here we are, heading into Manning's third (preseason) game as a member of the Broncos, and we have yet to see him throw a touchdown pass.

But it doesn't matter.
