Beat it, Just Beat It...WOOO!
Someone on Chiefs facebook suggested we should have Patrick beat the big drum before the Sunday Night Kickoff vs. Rodgers Packers. Whaddya Think? Would that add some extra juice to the proceedings?

This was suggested after his MRI by several people. Of course it would.

Would almost be worth me not getting to see him live at my one game I’m attending this season. Almost.

I'm for it, but 1) I bet he'd want to be on the field with his teammates and 2) I bet they decide that stuff well in advance.

When the players are hurt, they usually just mill around on the sideline in a Chiefs sweatsuit. Eric Fisher has been at every game, but stays out of the way of the guys who are in the game. Last year Berry would hang around and sometime stick his nose into the defensive group on the sideline. Of course, Grandpa Bob was running the meeting, so there wasn't much he could do to help with that train wreck. I'm thinking Patrick is going to try to help Midnight Hour as much as he can. He's always been a team first guy.

Are you crazy! He could sprain an elbow, break his wrist, dislocate his shoulder, maybe even break his neck. Very stupid dangerous thing for an injured player to do.
What an ignorant call, I mean idea. |

I am adamantly, vehemently, emphatically, categorically, and sweat-latheredly unequivocally opposed to this idea.
No stairs this early in his rehab and he should be with his teammates. Not, I repeat not, whacking a damn oversized tympan with some ugly cheerleaders like a retired octogenarian. FAX |
