Any Meters fans here?
NOLA funk baby. My fascination with this band began with early Little Feat a personal favorite. Lowell George was influenced by the Meters so I picked up their Albums and was a fan from then on. Just some great musicians and strangely are so unknown for some odd reason. This was filmed in 2012 with the reunion of the original Meters sadly we lost Art Neville in 2019 rip. Even if you dont like funk I dare not to like these guys

My favorite all time Meters track. Old Zigaboo was really in the pocket as always on the skins.

Intradasting. I dig me some Little Feat. Listening to Cissy Strut now on Spotify, can definitely hear the Feat influence already. Any songs/albums you recommend?

Interesting cover of Cissy Strut by a japanese group. Brilliant musicians as usual but just don't feel the funk.
