Vegas Reccomendations?
I figure the CP would be good for Vegas recs.
Staying at the Cosmo the 2nd week of December and options for good places to eat are just insane. Down for something pretty pricey for one night but really open as to what we will want to try. What is a go to for you? |

It’s on koval, not far from the strip but I wouldn’t recommend walking there. Great food, great prices and they make their own beer which is great too. Their casino has cheap table games too. If you want a pricey but great steak, the steakhouse at circus circus is fantastic. |

Go to the French Restaurant with the green iron decor....Mon Ami Gabi on the strip.
It's right across the street from Cosmo...go see "Love" at the Mirage...or Absinthe...the later is more rowdy and close by. Love is my favorite show in Vegas.. That will be a quality "tourist" night in Vegas...maybe head to Spearmint Rhino to top it off. https://www.yelp.com/biz/mon-ami-gabi-las-vegas-2 I know what I'm talking about... Truth be told...go to old Vegas. **** the Strip...go to Fremont street.... that french restaurant is great though...and you can just walk over there. I would stay at El Cortez...that's the area you want to party in...way, way cooler than the strip. Last edited by BlackOp; 11-11-2021 at 05:40 AM.. |

I’ll chime in on downtown, too!! Love it!! The light show is great ( and free). I believe it’s kind of cheaper gamblin’ in old town. If Binions steakhouse is still around, they had the best Ribeye that I’ve ever eaten (twice). Be warned, it was also the most expensive steak I’ve ever had (twice) and I’ll do it again!! Have fun. |

I always find my way to Egg Slut, especially if you are staying at the Cosmo. By the way, I've always had luck betting in the Cosmo sports book. Going to miss it when MGM takes over. And I'm also a fan of Downtown. You want a good time go there on Halloween. Anyway, the sports book at Circa is amazing. Stadium Swim looks awesome, but I'd need my entire crew out there if I was going to swing for a cabana. |

If you rent a car...check out Valley of Fire State Park. It's like being on Mars. It's about 60 miles northeast...definitely worth it. Nevada is a beautiful state.. http://parks.nv.gov/parks/valley-of-fire |

Special occasion? As mentioned Mon Ami Gabi is nice, we made reservations online and put a note in that it was our anniversary, after we had finished our food they brought us a nice dessert for free and said happy anniversary. It was a special touch.
One of the best (and most expensive) meals of my life was at Emeril’s restaurant in the Venetian. That was years ago, don’t know if it’s still there. Some good bar food is Guy Fierie’s place at the Linq. Best breakfast we’ve had is at Hash House a Go Go We’re staying at Mandalay Bay this weekend. Only reservation we have is at the restaurant on top of the stratosphere. Winging it the rest of the weekend. Also, as mentioned above, go see Absinthe. It’s amazing and we are going to see it again this weekend |

Bouchon at The Venetian is supposed to be the shit but we didn’t plan far enough ahead to get a reservation. I’m gonna make it a point to get there next time I’m there |

If anyone on here is into sushi, there’s no better spot than Kabuto in China Town. Omakase style, and pricey, but worth every penny. You’ll need a reso about 2-3 weeks in advance to get in as the place is VERY small. |
