Here's one I haven't seen before. Pretty simple, and surely isn't as easy as he makes it out to be, but it was an interesting look I thought.

Watched this yesterday. Thought it was definitely worth the time and how it showed Shanahan’s inability to adjust was pretty remarkable.

Kind of makes the 28-3 comeback by the Patriots against the Falcons when he was their offensive coordinator make more sense after viewing that vid.

All three of those guys are fantastic at breakdown QB play. They're all basically must watch if you want to understand how offensive plays unfold.

Thinking something similar and explains not only 28-3, but also SB 54. After Wasp, KC got momentum and SF’s offense had no answer.

The Falcons game is just unreal.
That dumb**** choked HARD. Run the ball, game over. He didn't grasp this simple concept. |

Now, there are some big components that I'm not ignorant of. First, Shanarat Jr is a run game guy. Like, that's his thing. Just do your thing. I'm sure Brother****ing Cheatriot ****bag was trying to get him to pass, but surely run game guy has an answer for that, other than send statue Matt Ryan to pass a billion times. Reid is and always has been a pass first guy. He'd have had to change his philosophy a bunch. Shanarat, not so much. The Luck game is also the Concussion game. Biggest being Jamaal. Hard to hate on Reid for not trusting Knile "open your ****ing eyes" Davis. I don't remember if anyone got hurt in the Falcons game. Coleman did maybe? Either way, Shanarat had 3 dudes that could run the ball. We did not. We also might have been super ****ed regardless because once Flowers went out, we couldn't cover anybody. But nonetheless, if Reid had run the ball either with Davis or even Alex, we'd have made it tougher on them. Shanarat ****tarded that Super Bowl away. I'm not quite ready to say he blew either of the ones against us just yet, but he may not be done yet. Reid obviously wasn't. |

Not that this clearly absolves Reid, but Knile Davis broke his leg with something like 10 minutes left in that game too.

It's a bad look but those dudes came to play. Especially the defense. And the offense was rolling decent at the start of the game also. For whatever the narrative is/was, those guys came to play. Shanarat Jr may have still turtled up and biffed the game away, but the narrative that they went in soft because the players were whiney ****s (they were) is incorrect. |
