Swap our #63 (2nd) for their #76 (3rd) + OJ Howard, and I'm okay with that.
Brett loves his lil' former 1st round reclamation projects. |

I’d do something like this. I don’t think we should lose any picks this year when you consider how well Veach drafted in 2019. I’m more comfortable with someone he picks than a cast-off.

Howard is good. Bruce just hates TEs for whatever reason and uses them sparingly. I'd do a trade for OJ in a heartbeat if it meant getting him for cheaper than what his value really is.

Doesn’t he still have 2 years on his rookie deal?

He is still on his rookie contract and his cap for this season would be $3,530,107.00 according to overthecap, com.
He has had 3 seasons, 38 games, catching 26 for 432 yards and 6 TDs in 2017, 34 for 565 yards, and 5 TDs in 2018, and 34, 459 yards, and 1 TD in 2019. I would not mind having him but Chiefs would have to pay his 4th year 1st round pick money, plus if they want to keep him another year, his year 5 extension. I would not give up a lot for him. |

1st round pick that just needs some coaching in the right system. I think he'd upgrade the TE squad .We can dump Old Yeller then
