Is the last 7 minutes of Chiefs vs Jags seriously gone forever?

Like there's no footage what so ever? We're never gonna see the Frank Clark interception? All of those moments are lost in time, like tears in rain?

In the regular sense yes, there will be no cuts between cameras and commentary etc. the all 22 cameras are in the stadium and nothing to do with CBS right so that should still exist.

The Frank Clark interception is up here somewhere. The All 22 has it all.

Yep the all 22 has it all, here's some highlights for those that don't have access:
  • Tremon Smith messed up the easiest down of a punt within the 5 you will ever (not) see.
  • Matt Moore came in for the next drive
  • Damien actually punched it in for a touchdown after the interception but it got called back for a hold.
  • Matt's only passing attempt on the drive was bad, threw it at no one like he didn't understand the play being run.
  • Spags played a few snaps of 3 safety 1 LB packages on the garbage time drive
  • The coverage on the final Jags touchdown was Breeland, and he was in pretty good position but it was a perfect back shoulder.
  • I think it was Watts who recovered two onside attempts, good hands particularly on the 2nd one
  • On the final drive, when it was obvious as hell the Chiefs were just going to run, Damien and McCoy still gashed the Jags for first downs.

Put me in the crowd that thinks CBS was just covering their ass after realizing their mistake.

Chiefs up 18.

We are taking you to a more competitive game.

Two plays later that more competitive game 9 point game is a 16 point game.

How do we get around this mess? Technical difficulties in Jax.

That still doesn't explain why they switched for the local market

What if they switched due to technical difficulties, but covered it by saying they were going to a more competitive game? From our (KC) perspective, it comes off as a terrible look for CBS, but maybe some idiot producer thought that sounded better than saying that they couldn't get their shit together for Week 1.

Either way, CBS looked like a clownshow with how they handled the whole ordeal.

I'm with you, Coogs. Someone made that decision without thinking about the local market. The satellite feed was probably taken down. I have a little experience with satellite feeds and I can tell you you don't re-establish that connection quickly. Did anyone else notice there was a stoppage on the field, CBS went to commercial, and coming out made that announcement? I also find it odd that if there was a fire/power outage in the truck, where was the footage seen on All-22 and the like stored? Since those are CBS cameras (or local affiliates) one would think the feed from them could go back to the production truck.
