The Early Years Tournament: Round 3, Heat 3. Sweet 16.

Chiefs 2-0 / Ravens 2-0

Mahomes played great, with 374 yards passing and 3 touchdowns, but the story is behind the stats. If you watch the highlights, this is one of his prettiest passing games ever. Everything was on target, threading needles like a sweatshop worker. Hidden behind the scenes is a great game by Ogbah with 1.5 sacks and 4 QB hits. You should also check out the great one-handed touchdown catch by Demarcus Robinson if you don't automatically remember it. The Ravens' offense was potent with over 200 rushing yards, but the Chiefs controlled this game from start to finish to put an end to talk that the Ravens could go toe to toe with them.

2019 - Week 16 - W 26-3 over CHI

Chiefs 10-4 / Bears 7-7

Aside from a bunch of cute Bears Mahomes jerseys worn by disgruntled fans, one of the most interesting aspects of this game was that the announcers mentioned the Bears' "double-doink" miss a few years earlier, and then on the next extra point by Butker, he double-doinked it. What are the odds of that? (In his defense, he also made a 56-yard field goal.) Other than that, I think this might have been the game where Patrick Mahomes II counted on his fingers after a score, given that he was playing the team that double-crossed him (to his benefit) during the draft. On the field, this game was a nice dismantling with the Chiefs going up by 17 before the other team and their franchise quarterback could put up any points. Jones, Clark, and Ragland got sacks, and Patrick was the best quarterback on the field, cruising to 251 yards passing and 2 TDs, plus another TD rushing. Damien Williams was our yardage leader with 92.

I like the Chicago game based on context as Patrick drove home the Bears' drafting error. But he destroyed the Ravens with pure passing. I'll go with the Ravens game.

A lot of those Mahomes vs Ravens games are hard to go against.
