Great debut episode. Why did they have to wait until Sunday to release the next episode!

Was wondering about this. The only thing was I could barely understand a word Sly was saying in the trailers.

This show takes me back. It's strange to see my hometown (that I haven't seen in real life in almost 20 years). And really crazy that so many things are apparently still exactly as they were. For instance, that drone/helo shot looking straight down at that intersection; that's downtown Tulsa, and the church I went to as a kid is not more than 6-7 blocks from that crossing.

I recognized a lot of those storefronts, signs . . . and I'm pretty sure that crappy motel isn't actually in Tulsa; I think it's in one of the surrounding towns, but I can't believe the damn thing is still there.

I was so interested in trying to figure out where they were in Tulsa, i forgot to actually pay attention to the show the first time. Had to rewatch the episode a couple days ago so I could understand the story.

Netflix is the only streamer that drops all episodes of a season at once. The rest put out only one episode at a time. You can’t cancel their service for 2.5 months.

I was pleasantly surprised as I have thought the last couple Stalone pictures sucked, he was just too old.

Sometimes, like Paul McCartney's recent attempts at music, it's time to hang it up.

But I think he did a great job, at least in the pilot episode.

I visited back there a couple times the last few years, holy shit it's changed. All around and west of Turkey Mountain is fully developed. Bixby and Tulsa are fully joined, and don't get me started east of the mall.

I remember eating at Cheddars the first day it was open and it was the only building around. Now it's solid city to Broken Arrow.

The casino at the bend on south Riverside isn't just double wide trailers anymore, it's a full-blown site. Jenks next to the river is fully developed. My favorite drive that connected Riverside to 121st street, beautiful trees, swamp, amazing ranches and houses, is all gone. It's all city now.

Unreal.
