Since you called this thread, “Positions of Need”, I am going to add “Draft Priority” and “Free Agent Priority” to the list.

1. OL – Protecting Patrick Mahomes is always the top priority and keeping Orlando Brown Jr becomes the top free agent priority for this off season. Right tackle is also an issue with Lucas Niang’s injury, which also requires addressing.

Orlando Brown Jr, $$$, Andrew Wylie, $ + Kellen Diesch, Arizona State, (3-94)

2. S – Because Tyrann Mathieu is too expensive to keep but the position then becomes our top DRAFT priority.

Malik Hooker $ + S Daxton Hill, Michigan or S Jaquan Brisker, Penn State, (1-30)

3. DE – Because Frank Clark is ineffective and very expensive to keep but we have to improve our rush.

Melvin Ingram $ + Boye Mafe, Minnesota, Josh Paschal, Kentucky or Sam Williams, Mississippi, (2-62)

4. CB – Young, good CBs you have to keep. Ward is a free agent priority. Also need to continue to bring in CB talent.

Charvarius Ward $$ + Marcus Jones, Houston, Mykael Wright, Oregon, or Alontae Taylor, Tennessee, (3-102)

5. WR – Seems low to have this be our 5th priority, but I think our other needs are greater.

JuJu Smith-Schuster $$ + Erik Ezukanma, Texas Tech, Reggie Roberson Jr, SMU, Tay Martin, Oklahoma State, (4-132)

6. DL – Adding a quality free agent is important here. Need a big run stuffer.

Folorunso Fatukasi $$ + Matthew Butler, Tennessee, Tayland Humphrey Louisiana- Lafayette (6-189)

7. RB – We could sign back everybody or try to add someone late in draft.
