That should be plenty for the game. What kind of internet service are you using? Sounds like a latency issue.

That hardware is certainly not the bottleneck by any means. I'd look at network speed. Is he connecting via wifi? If so, it would be infinitely better to run an ethernet cable to his device. That looks like bad network connection all the way.

Thanks gentlemen. He’s hooked up to an Ethernet cable running out of a second router I turned into an access point. I’ll check his network speed.
At any given time we have 15 or more devices running off our internet, most via wi-fi. I just checked, right now there are 20. I wonder if there could be some latency caused by having all these devices? |

Yeah, run a speed test on that machine. With ethernet and that hardware, that machine should be humming like a kitten. Maybe run a speed test while he's streaming the content in question and compare the two. Maybe he's got a ****ed up codec or something.
Devices depend on your router. How many bands it has and what speeds it's capable of. The router can also be configured in different ways depending on compatibility vs. performance. As in A-B-G-N speed. Routers can be configured for compatibility in A-B mode. Or for performance in G-N speed only. There's lots of other router settings that would affect performance. I'd look and see what that was set at as well... |

sometimes its the streaming service. I have an older gaming PC and using sites like twitch is not an option. I've tried it and my PC chugs or hangs. on the other hand... sometimes I will do a Exanima demo and just stream it through Steam Broadcast and that works great.
