Mahomes is like super smart
I read he had a 4.0 GPA his first year at Tech, then a 3.91 GPA his second year, and then a 3.64 as a Business Marketing Major. He was the academic Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the year.
Good at everything he does. That puts to rest any question about his intelligence even though he only got a 24 on his Wonderlic. https://athlonsports.com/nfl/patrick...-turning-heads |

I think there has been a stigma with him since day one that he wins with all talent, much like Lamar and Allen. Not necessarily to the fans here, but to the outside world I think many of them see him in that way.
Anyone who has actively followed him fully understands he's just as smart as he is physically skilled, if not more so. |

You don't revolutionize the position of QB by running around like Lamar or Josh, no matter how much the media tries to sell them because they're exciting.
You do it with brains like Brady, Montana and Mahomes all did. |

He's scored a 3.1 on Super Bowls and that's the only score I give a shit about.

GPA is work ethic, not intelligence. Having said that, if anyone thinks he's a dummy, then they should take a look in the mirror.

In high school yeah, but if you are stupid you simply just won't be able to succeed very well in college. Maybe you can just barely skate by but Mahomes GPA super high. I bet if he knew he wasn't going to be an NFL player it wouldn't have even dropped his JR year. He was focused on the prize.

Ryan Fitzpatrick scored the highest Wonderlic score ever for a QB… 48.
Vince Young scored the lowest… 6. |

The college drop out rate is 33%. Quite frankly too many people are going to college that shouldn't be there and aren't smart enough. They don't even care what you get on your ACT anymore at many state schools I've been told. However usually the dumb people are quickly weeded out and no dumb person is ever going to have a Mahomes grade point average. In general a college graduate is much more intelligent than a college drop out is on average and a college drop out is on average much more intelligent than a high school drop out. Obviously there are always exceptions but overall you are incorrect. 125 Mean of persons receiving Ph.D. and M.D. degrees 115 Mean of college graduates 105 Mean of high school graduates 100 Average for total population 75 About 50-50 chance of reaching ninth grade http://www.assessmentpsychology.com/iq.htm Last edited by BWillie; Yesterday at 02:00 PM.. |
