And the WR’s cost the Chiefs another game . . . .

Toney the offensive version of Dee Ford.

Moore Toney and MVS could be released today and the team would probably improve.

Rice is fine, although his inconsistency needs to improve.

Watson would be fine as a guy to fill out the bottom half of a decent WR group.

Toney is fine to have around, but he's more of a 10-snap gadget player than a receiver. Devoting a spot on the 53 to a guy like that is more of a luxury.

The problem is almost entirely Moore and MVS.

Moore was just a whiff, MVS is and always was a one-dimensional deep threat who can't do the things a receiver in our offense needs to do.

Believing Moore and MVS were good enough to play a majority of snaps on a contending team, or any NFL team, was the fatal mistake. If we even had one consistent vet like a Thielen or whomever, things would look a lot different.

Agree, this team needed a veteran WR. We had that last year with JuJu, you have to wonder how a guy like Hopkins would have changed things. Thanks for ****ing around Chris Jones.

MVS was good enough to play a majority of snaps on a team last year that won a Super Bowl, and got to the Super Bowl because he balled out in the AFCCG when he was the last regular WR standing.

MVS was never a top-end WR, last year was pretty much what he had always been. The difference is this year he has regressed HARD. No one saw that coming. If he had just maintained his mediocrity, they would be in better shape.

Having said that, it's time to move on from him.

It's a real shame that Eli Apple can't cover him every contest.
