I wasn't really sure where to post that and didn't wanna make a new thread on it.

But Andy, with this talent and Pat is looking deadly.

Exactly. Prior to Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, Whitlock was arguing with two other commentators that Watson was still the better long term bet. He thought Mahomes had a great game against the Chargers but still believed Watson would be better.

Then after the Pittsburgh game, he's predicting 60 TDs for Mahomes. What an asshole. He knew he missed the boat so he calculated that his only way back on the Mahomes bandwagon was to make a bold prediction that would place him front and center. I've never liked that self-promoting muck-raking phony.

We are so used to "because Chiefs" now all of a sudden we truly have a HOF QB in the making with all the attention to boot from the national media and some of us are paralyzed in fear(deer in the headlights fanbase-hopefully just temporarily though).

Disagree.

Teams get back in because we don't attack on defense. Rushing 3 or 4 is stupid. Mix of the blitz packages and hide dropbacks. You should always be sending 5. Hell rush blitz to the qb.

Sutton and Andy need to get away from the play it safe mode of bend don't break with this group of defensive players. Two weeks in a row teams come back because you are giving 10 to 15 yard cushions or qbs get 8 seconds to throw.

There would also be less defensive flags if they got pressure. It is impossible for a dback to guard his man for that long without holding.

Agreed. The kid is a superstar in the making - but he IS going to have hiccups sooner or later. He does, however, seem to have his head screwed on properly. I don't think he pays much attention to the hype around him.

Several of us have had a phrase or entire segments pinched by Fatlock.

Watson will end up being an above average QB if his knees hold up- while Mahomes is changing the entire football landscape.

Crazy thing is we really haven't seen it yet...just that one laser in LA running to his right.
They also get him in these 'moving pocket' situations that most QBs would have timing issues with - and his accuracy and timing are so uncanny, he can pull it off, whether he's timing a slant pass, throwing someone open to a spot on the field, or just improvising and making something happen...

In fact...the Oline is starting to adapt to Mahomes's style, and they're bound to develop some chemistry, not only amongst the Oline as a unit, but also between PMII and the line, as well.
