Do you think the NFL is "rigged?"

Pretty simple question: Do you think the NFL is "rigged?"

Specifically, do you believe the NFL has a preferred outcome for games AND orders its officiating crews to make calls for/against teams for the purpose of achieving that preferred outcome?

No.

There are bullshit calls, and certain QBs get breaks, but I don't believe it's orchestrated.

Yep. I think that refs can be intimidated by high-profile players and may bias their calls slightly because of it, but I don't think there's a league-sanctioned initiative to throw games.

No. But favorable players get favorable calls. Peyton Manning vs Bernard Pollard, who do you think will get the call. Brady vs Suh... pretty much any QB and the majority of wr's over db's.

Bad example - Pollard has a history and those 2 personal fouls on Pollard yesterday were well earned.

Because it was against the Donx. Legal in every other instance. Just watch a Denver game and take note of all the tick- tack BS calls that extend drives. Yesterday when the Titans were up and had Denver pinned deep, there were a couple. All it takes is a few when they're struggling then LOOK OUT because when they get on a roll, the other team can't recover. Get a couple a game and it's HUGE for that offense.

On the flip side watch all the illegal pick plays that get ignored (I'm not talking about the legal rubs). So funny to listen to the commentators. My favorite line from yesterday was,"Denver has the perfect play for that particular situation." Hell yeah they do!

More proof that you don't understand the game, nor watch the game in any fashion...

Really. The ball was overthrown and Pollard had time to pull up, I believe it was a personal foul for hitting a defenseless receiver. I could be wrong though, I don't recall what was said.

Bullshit! That hit he put on Decker was a legal play. Shoulder to shoulder.

Even in real time you could see that. But after one consults the Manning Doctrine, it becomes illegal. Without a doubt, Pollard's rep had something to do with it too... But honestly that wasn't even the worst call. The worst one was a defensive holding call that bailed Denver out and led to the game tying TD. It was a total game-changer. Instead of punting deep in their own territory, they were awarded a 1st down and scored a few plays later. Momentum had shifted. Who knows what could have happened had they been forced to punt to a Tennessee team with the lead that was moving the ball and could have possibly gone up by 14 at half? More times than not it's when the calls happen more so than the calls themselves. If the refs make that particular call all the time, they might as well not even allow DB's on the field.
