I still can't believe this. I'm afraid I'm going to wake up and it was all a dream. Four plus decades of being a Chiefs fan without EVER hearing people gushing about a young, homegrown Chiefs QB.

I might be in some mild form of shock, I'm not sure. Everything seems surreal.

Patrick has shown he has the ability to handle all of the hype and stay pretty unaffected. But what about those of us who are basking in the glory of him being our QB? Will it go to our heads or will we be able to handle it as well as this 23 year old kid?
