Year Two of the Matt Quatraro tenure. Time to take a step up this year. Active in free agency and trades this offseason. A new look pitching rotation and bullpen. Will the young players take the leap up offensively? Bobby Witt extension? New stadium? Will Vinny recover from injury? Salvy taking aim at the Royals record book? If Ragans starts game 1 then Lugo gets his work in this week to stay on schedule for a start in either game 2 or 3 on 4 or 5 days rest.

It makes sense to shelve Ragans for this series. He can throw on the side to stay in rhythm for a start on Tuesday on 3 days rest.
