Amari Cooper isn’t necessary right now. We just performed strongly against what’s going to be one of the best defenses in the league.

But if things get worse in that room… then we have the discussion.

Trade for Cooper? Huh?

Why are the Browns doing that? Why would we give up that capital?

Spoiler, guys: we had the best offense in the league with this same WR corps in 2022 minus Rice and Worthy but with MVS (and a dash of Toney). But we’re desperate for WRs without Brown? Huh?

I've wondered about teams that sign a high profile player in the off-season....only to lose them in the pre-season for the year.

The NFL should consider some form of cap relief...that the team can still pay the player but potentially get a cap credit to replace them. It would be up to the owner if he wants to foot the bill...

This would only apply if they never took a regular season snap...on their first year.

As it stands, KC's big off-season acquisition may never play a down for them...just an 11 million dollar void for nothing.

This injury can be very dangerous because of the the blood vessel running behind the joint , would have loved to have seen this offense at full power. Still hoping for late season comeback.

I don't really think your idea helps any. Even if the Chiefs had a bit of extra cap right now, you'd only be able to spend it on street free agents and if they are on the street or the practice squad in September, they are not expensive and probably not worth picking up.

Oh and its not 11 million, there were 4 million in incentives that now won't likely be met so the Chiefs will actually get 4m of extra cap back.
