I can't pick just one genre so I'll do one song per genre I tend to listen to most, presented in no particular order:
Blockbuster night 1 - run the jewels Forty six and 2 - Tool Cough syrup - young the giant Bring the pain - mindless self indulgence Seven devils - Florence and the machine This list is all over the place but so are my musical tastes |

I don't have a favorite genre. And my top 5 songs changes with my mood.
But here are five songs from the 60's. you might not have heard, or at least might not have heard for a while. Most of the 60's stuff I listen to is late 60s progressive and psychedelia. But this isn't that: These boots are made for walking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM1kzbAgo_E runaway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaHgHrCwQBA rich man's Frug https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcrZIK3gqbU Be my baby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-dr1PZZMds Last edited by Chief Pagan; 05-19-2024 at 05:13 PM.. |

I will go old school country too.. "Bed of Roses" (or "Class of '57"- Statler Brothers "Till The Rivers all Run Dry"- Don Williams "Chiseled in Stone"- Vern Gosdin "Brotherly Love"- Keith Whitley (and Earl Thomas Conley) "A Better Man"- Clint Black My taste for music goes all over the place....but if I want to have a nice relaxing set of music playing while I am working on something I always go really old school country. Scho I found her by way of another band lej. She is amazing and the way she went from coving popular songs to her own music is amazing.

Instead of 5 for a certain genre, I’ll give you songs that personify each genre I listen to:
Grunge Rock Alice n Chains-Would Stone Temple-Pilots Interstate Love Song Acoustic Rock Nirvana-Man Who Sold the World Alice In Chains - Down in a Hole Pearl Jam - Black Country George Strait. All of them. All day. Folk Lumineers - Ho Hey, Ophelia Mazzy Star - Fade |

I really got into the Alternative genre when I lived in Toronto from 2006-2007 listening to their radio station 102.1 The Edge.
Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, Modest Mouse, Panic at the Disco, Metric, Silversun Pickups, Muse, Portugal the Man, MGMT, Artic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, The White Stripes, Passion Pit, Gorillaz, Kings of Leon, Blur, The Raconteurs. |
