I don't see anyone better to spend the available cap on than Sneed, assuming we can work out a deal that fits.
If it's a 3rd + conditional and we can move up to 24'ish, that's great range for an OT or WR, or if we just keep our two 3rds is a strong round for a high end RB or quality WR. Mostly offensive draft would be a lot of fun! Last edited by Couch-Potato; 03-17-2024 at 02:00 PM.. |

Am I going to give up Sneed to cover that small bit of risk in the middle? For a guy who may not be a long term LT anyway? Nope. |

What's the consensus opinion on Jordan Morgan as a LT?
In my mock draft simulators he seems to almost always be available. |

If I'm losing Sneed for the flexibility/ammo to trade up, I'd prefer it to be Mims, or at least ****ing Guyton.

I agree, they're pretty raw and it's rolling the dice but they look like they have significantly more upside to me. Not that I'm mad keen on many of these LTs.

Very possible. It was just an idea. He still has 4 cheap years of a rookie contract instead of 3. Just trying to think of ways to get to the top of the draft.

You shouldn’t expect that we are moving up anywhere past the early 20s.
I’m going in thinking we may not end up making a pick in the first round, at all. |

There's no consensus for a reason. There's very little to actually suggest one is any better than the other. So why give up Sneed to trade up? Your guy at 32 just isn't an appreciably worse prospect than your guy at 24 in all likelihood. And that's presuming you don't get iced out like we did in last years draft. It's just WAY too speculative to justify moving Sneed for the mere possibility. You don't take an ass return on a great player for the privilege of MAYBE moving up for someone who is MAYBE a fractional percentage better than who you could've had at 32. |

We may move up only if the Sneed deal gets done. If not, I could easily see us trading out of 32 to a team that wants a 5th year option on a player.

The more this drags on it’s hard not to feel like Sneed isn’t staying put.
