According to CP, Jones missing the first playoff game last year was a "business decision" because he only cares about money.

Nagging groin injury + first of three games in a 10 day time frame + Brian Hoyer... smart decision to rest Jones tonight.

I’d rather have a guy that occasionally gets banged up and misses a game or two than a guy that has season ending injuries every couple of years.

CJ is fine.
If Cam was playing, or if Brady was still their QB, CJ would be playing tonight, no question. But it's Hoyer. Let's be honest, if the Chiefs play to their average and can't beat Hoyer on 3 days notice or whatever without CJ, then the Chiefs aren't really very good anyway. |

Jones would have feasted on a QB like Hoyer.

Brilliant move. Andy is coaching this season like the only thing that matters is defending the crown. I love it.

I'm fine with it. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon.

I was hoping they would do this. Sit him out Sunday too. Going to need him vs Bills. History has proven that Groins can linger if not properly rested and healed.
