Hopefully the Royals don't come out of the gates hot. Let's hope we completely suck ass and get that number 1 pick. We should just sit every starter and let the young guys get in their reps.

They wanted to play in a Major League stadium with all of it's amenities but governments in those areas said no. Minor League stadiums don't quite have all the bells and whistles.

Ironically the stadium in Buffalo was the one that started the trend of new retro design ballparks in downtowns. It was built to attract an expansion franchise. But those went to Denver and Miami.

It’s surprising then that they skimped on the clubhouse & lighting since those are 2 of the things in a new stadium to mostly attract a team. Amenities can be added later.
