Seems like such a wasteful luxury, considering our other needs... but boy howdy my Athlon Sports draft guide couldn’t be more effusive
“Fast, physical and ultra-competitive” “College footballs best receiver running after the catch” “Twitched up mover with the ability to string moves together, slipping multiple tackles... has the vision and creativity of a top running back” “Has the long speed to threaten deep” “Has the leaping skills and competitive nature to consistently win contested catches” And that’s only about half of it, good grief The weak points just talks about him being a somewhat raw route runner juco transfer, and his 6’0 195 size maybe hampering him escaping press coverage against bigger corners Gotta say I wouldn’t be mad if Burt pulled the trigger here... |

Veach should chat with Uncle Herm. He speaks truth about his players.

Jesus, what a room. Reek, Hardman, Sammy and Aiyuk. All those D-linemen and line backers the afcw picked up will be sweating.

Can’t see that happening. Kid is just too damn good. I didn’t get to see much of him until lately but wow I’m a fan. I would absolutely take this guy at 32.
Sadly I think he’s going to Green Bay.

Be very surprised if a top-40 player makes it to 63 but I thought the same about Thornhill so who knows. I'd say, I very much doubt it.

Yeah, I won't either but if I'm placing bets I'd have to say 45 is the lowest I'd wager on. I don't know where every board has him but there's only 5 other WRs I'd consider over him (Lamb, Jeudy, Ruggs, Jefferson, Higgins). No matter the depth of class, he's still better than most. Either way, there's still about 10-12 other receivers I'd be happy with in this draft after those 6. Chiefs couldn't have picked a better year to need to grab one for the future.

Medicals are going to be huge this draft. Forwarding reports, x-rays, etc., is one thing, but team medical staffs will be leaned on more than ever as they cannot get any of these prospects in the buildings to conduct their own tests. Some good players may freefall with any uncertainties about their recovery/availability.

The sirius mock yesterday had us trading back from 32 with Jacksonville and getting picks 41 & 42.
Do this and grab him there. They had us taking an LSU RB and a center/Guard. I don't remember their names |
