I’m fine with taking a RB in rounds 1/2/3 (not what I would personally do) - but my general observation from running different simulators is that we aren’t getting a CB that will fall into our depth charts top 3 after the second round. CB has to be our first or second pick, and taking a RB early forces our hand and we might not end up with a true BPA draft there after.
We have other needs more important than RB, but CB is the only one that will kill our season if we don’t address IMO. |

If Swift, Dobbins, or Edwards-Helaire are there in the 2nd round.. you absolutely take them. Of course, resigning Breeland makes this an easier pick.. but you add elite talent at running back and gets the offense back to 40 pts a game. Assuming we didnt trade Jones.

In a season with very little prep time available, the more players with experience in this system, the better. |
