Not a bad strategy. Control the clock and help the KC defense.

I wouldn't want that in the long-term, but honestly it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for our offense to get that kind of game down. There are times when a 7-minute drive can completely put a game out of reach while a 30-second TD just puts our shitty defense back out there again.

Yep. Both of our losses to the Patriots and our loss to the Rams would have been wins if we didn't score so fast on our last drives.

We really should’ve just conceded the touchdown on the Patriots last drive of regulation in the AFC Title Game. Let them score right away and give Mahomes some time.

What’s more likely:

Our defense stops the Patriots offense from scoring a touchdown?

Or

Our offense scores a touchdown against the Patriots?

I’m putting the ball in Mahomes’s hands all day in that situation.

True. Weren’t we one of the most penalized defenses in the league though? It shouldn’t be too surprising that a lack of discipline cost us at the worst possible time.

Without knowing the result of the drive though, I’d still rather be in the position to win with Mahomes on the field than trying to stop a good team with that defense on the field.

I watched Arizona State play this afternoon and got a good reminder about Herm and "circus offenses"

I think one of Herms own players slipped on Herms jizz when the score was 3 to zip in the 4th quarter.

Well, we beat the Rams regardless if Scandrick, or however you spell his name, makes the INT, that was right in his hands, in the 4th qtr. It was a for sure pick 6, but a game winner regardless if he just caught the damn thing.

Good concept but I'm not sure that Andy Reid knows how to control the clock. He's shown almost no ability managing the clock since he came here.

No he hasn't and it sucks
He has a damn near unstoppable offense but he he never used to help the defense win the game. He needs to use the clock more with RBs and shorter passing plays sometimes.
