He looked completely slow and uninterested. I can't believe they kept him in there for so many plays. He looked worse than Gaines.

@ChiefsReporter: Per @PFF, #Chiefs CB Darrelle Revis played 56 out of 61 defensive snaps vs. the Raiders.
Derek Carr targeted Revis 7 times, with Revis allowing only 1 reception for 8 yards. He had 1 pass defensed and a 39.6 passer rating when throwing in his direction. https://twitter.com/ChiefsReporter/s...536704/photo/1 |

I brought it up in the Gameday thread....but I wonder if the Revis signing was a backup plan for Peters.
If Revis comes back and shows that he can play as a legit #1 CB again, and Peters ends up forcing the Chiefs to trade him....then you at least have a CB to start when Peters is gone. If Peters pulls his head out of his ass.....then you have a damn good CB duo. |

If Terence Newman can play until he's 39, then Revis should still be able to be a good player until he's 33/34 which is how old he'd be next year.
The Chiefs will have a big decision to make on Revis for next year. That's a lot of cap to use up and we can't afford to make a mistake on it. |

Revis has been respectable - which is shocking since he wasn't even that before he hit the couch we signed him off of...
