It really looks like Mahomes has that natural downfield accuracy and feel for where to go with the ball that you just can't teach.

If he can learn to read NFL defenses the sky's the limit.

Yep. His pocket presence too... he has a feel for pressure. He isn't scared of it, either. We can see that with the first throw as a defender is right in his face.

This developmental period is so crucial. By camp in 2018, if he can be at that point of just focusing on defenses and coverages, look out.

Everyone that scouted him said he won't be ready until Year 2.

Reid said he won't play until 2018.

If he's FORCED to play, it could screw up his development.

If he's READY to play, which would defy ALL expectations and make the Browns, 49ers, Bears and others look ****ing stupid, then good for him and the Chiefs.
