I’ll repeat what I said last year.

If John Elway has a brain in his head (he doesn’t) he should trade away Von Miller, Chris Harris and Emmanuel Sanders.

They need to get something for those guys while they have any value.

Would love a still shot of all the board Mule Toolers faces when that kick sailed through at the end. 22-2 in early season thin air home games. This must be one of the worst Denver rosters ever. The thin air will keep them out of the top 5 too which is hilarious.

I'm more looking for Tomb, Gaylore, and friends...

We can discuss the thin air giving countless cheap "4th quarter comebacks" to undeserving Denver squads if you want?

Ok, Pasta... I'll play.

My 5 Main Factors of why Denver is 0-2:
1 - Slow starts / Defensive pressure is non-existant
2 - Bend and don't break has broken on big plays when it matters most
3 - Mental meltdowns (penalties)
4 - Offensive playcalling has been lame
5 - Settling for FGs on long drives (7 long drives - 1 missed FG, 1 INT, 5 FGs)

Is there anything encouraging from the first 2 games?
1 - DEF, 10 of 18 drives have resulted in a punt or end of half
2 - Stats/Yards = @ OAK and Denver had the adv in most vs CHI
3 - Drives greater than 6 plays (5:3 @ OAK) and (7:3 vs CHI)
4 - 2nd half (8 quarters) - scoring adv of 26-20

Doesn't matter if they are finishing better - they are getting out to terrible starts, down 0-14 and 3-6 respectively. Denver has had drives with 11, 12, 10, 10, 9, 9, 16 and 12 plays that have resulted in a ton of yards and only 19 points. They've punted the same total as the other teams, so there's nothing out of whack there.

Just terrible starts - mental issues (penalties) and NO pressure from the defense. You can't have 8 drives with 9+ plays and only get 1 TD and expect to win.

It's a combination of little things... they can fix those, question is will they fix those. Ok, there's my football talk. :-) How's the homework project going?

Hell, he's probably going to trade for Eli Manning.

So none of your 5 reasons are that Flacco is garbage or the Fangio is no better than Radio? Maybe they are the reason behind the slow starts?
