You know why they no longer play Gary Glitter RNR Pt 2 at football games? He's now in prison serving a 16 year sentence.

Gary Glitter returned to the UK after his conviction in Vietnam for molesting two girls aged 11 and 12

I've know since the early 70's when my Uncle introduced me to it.In fact thanks in part to him I was quite "schooled" on music at an early age.I can remember having record day on Fridays in grade school and while the other kids were bringing AM pop (Donny Osmond,The Jackson 5 etc.) I was bringing Rare Earth, BTO and Black Sabbath.

Ha...yes, I remember "record day" as well. Had completely forgotten about it until you mentioned it. Good times...things were so much simpler then.

Only records I remember in school was square dancing records in gym class WTF was that all about?

My record day was on our days off I would spend all my Worlds of Fun paycheck at Tiger Records. My Brother had just got his drivers licence and we would spend evening listening to KBEY or KUDL the progressive rock radio stations in KC and get ideas for artists to check out at Tiger Records. Had quite a collection that was destroyed in a flood in storage in Riverside
