Is Rashad Fenton going to start this year?
We only have 3 corners on our roster now.

We lost Fuller in FA.
(Contract offer wasn't huge; 4yr/40m - 23m guaranteed. 4m cap in yr 1, 10m salary cap 2-4yr.)

Breeland is still out there probably because he's asking for too much money.

Slot starter - ???

Rashad Fenton and Alex Brown

We need to add 2 cornerbacks simply to have enough numbers.

Oh yeah, good point. I still think the Chiefs win. We had the timeouts and our offense was rolling. As a Chiefs fan, I had watched so many overthrows (to open receivers), soul crushing fumbles, game ending drives stalling around the 50 in clutch time. It was nice to see it happen to the other side and breathe a little easier after Clark's sack, though.

I think we’ve reached the stage of the “Golden QB” era where we will see the outcast or “rebound” candidate veterans coming to play for cheap just to join a SB contending team with the best QB in the league in hopes of boosting their value for another contract next offseason.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we drafted a CB high and also signed someone like Eli Apple or Dre Kirkpatrick for cheap to rebuild their stigma in the league. I think KC will become a Free Agency destination for those looking to come in for “prove-it deals” and luckily that seems to be in Veach’s wheelhouse anyways.

I still think it is going to happen, and that it will be the Jaguars. They have 12 picks right now. Ngakoue gets moved to another team, and they will have more picks and 33 to 34 million in cap space.

We get much needed cap space, more draft capital, and the option to sign players like Breeland which opens up our draft options a bit more.

Defensive line, and overall defense will still be solid. Offense is our meal ticket for the next decade.
