The truth about our losses

After a little research and going back to last season, including the Super Bowl we have 5 losses when Mahomes plays (obviously not counting week 17 Chargers game). Almost all of the games we have lost in that time frame have one major thing in common. Here’s the data...

Chiefs/Faders - Clete Blakeman
Chiefs/Bucs - Carl Cheffers
Chiefs/Ravens - Clete Blakeman
Chiefs/Bills - Carl Cheffers
Chiefs/Chargers - Sean Hocculi

We are losing the games reffed by those horrible officials.

Hey at least that crooked idiot Jeff Triplette is gone. One less we have to deal with. And yes I also cringe when I see Clete Blakeman or Carl Cheffers out there.

An NFL Referee, Carl began officiating in 1980 in Long Beach, CA working various levels of HS and college football.

Previously during that same postseason, he had refereed the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs and was criticized by players for calling a holding penalty on Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher during a crucial two-point conversion attempt, which resulted in the Steelers winning 18-16.

Cheffers was the referee of Super Bowl LV, which was his second Super Bowl assignment as a referee.[12] Cheffers and his crew were widely criticized for the high number of penalties as well as controversial calls made against the Kansas City Chiefs. The eight penalties and 95 yards enforced against Kansas City, in the first half, were both NFL records for a Super Bowl. The first half penalties resulted in six first downs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which was also an NFL record.[13] Both FOX officiating expert Mike Pereira and NBC officiating expert Terry McAuley criticized Cheffers and his crew for changing the standard of calls from what was imposed during the regular season and playoffs.

Cheffers is already a sore subject among Kansas City fans. Cheffers and his crew officiated the Chiefs' Super Bowl LV loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in February. Kansas City was called for 11 penalties for 120 yards. Tampa Bay was flagged for four penalties for 34 yards.
