83 Cody Thompson may have lost a job tonight. He caught 1 out of 5. I never saw him get open. Getting open was supposed to be his thing.

Kind of a dropoff after the 1st team defense left the field.

We went from dogs to dogsh*t in one rotation.

I'm gonna guess that if he'd had a job to lose, he'd have been in the game much sooner than he was.

My game summary of winners and losers:

Winners:

Kpass as usual, though I'm not sure how he's going to get on the field behind Clark.
Darwin Thompson as usual, though Damien Williams may have held him off.
Niemann seems to always be around the ball.
Saunders helped himself a little, though that was a low bar for success.

Losers:
Herb Miller had a rough game.
What was up with Wylie? Hopefully he's fine at guard, but don't move him to tackle.
Mecole is not impressing me as a returner.
If Blake Bell is our #2, we're going to be opining for Demetrius Harris.

didnt go through all 7 pages but didnt anyone catch Sherman pushing number 20 five yards back on the field goal attempt after he cheapshotted Mahomes?

@2:45 during the broadcast camera was on them a bit longer and shows him pointing and saying something too him .. ..but nice to see sausage stepping up to protect Mahomes..

I don’t think any team plays starters in the last pre season game. If they do they are dumb

These BS OPI calls are pissing me off.

Replay is making the refs way more touchy on OPI I think.

There's a good reason the NFL never allowed judgement calls to be reviewed. So many unintended consequences.

These should have different rules imo. No auto-review on scoring plays or last 2 minutes. Teams get one "nuclear" DPI/OPI review per game. Call it "The Saints Rule". Use it wisely.

So who's the 4th RB? Don't we usually keep 4, not counting FB?
