As someone who personally suffered from a pulmonary embolism, that shit is nothing to **** with..

They made me take blood thinners for 6 months so there is no guarantee dude is gonna play this year.

This is correct. I can't see any way he plays while anticoagulated. The length of anticoagulation could vary, if they decide it is provoked it could be a short as 3 months, if they decide this is unprovoked it could be up to 6 or even 12 months
