Bernie as the new Favorite deserves his own thread

The positions the old fellow takes are unique. Should have strong appeal to those who oppose war and our efforts in the middle east

Is he the new favorite? I was looking at the Iowa caucus results a few times because it was an interesting story. They had him as only 0.01% off of the lead there last I looked. The others were pretty far behind those guys. What about the leader though? The guy that looks like Alfred E. Neuman?

They had 3 years to come up with a candidate who could defeat an incumbent who has fed them campaign material for every day of those 3 years.

What do they come up with? Crazy comrade Bernie and Gay Pete.

Incredible.

I think he looks more like a cross between a pig face and an elf, myself.

I don't think his anti-war stance is unique since polls consistently show a large majority since 2004 think we're doing too much overseas, and are tired of these wars, Trump promised to remove us from. Neither do I support working it out in the UN. In fact, I think we should get out of the UN, and then get the UN out of the United States.

I am for just leaving instead of Empire building, especially for globalism. Ya' know the foreign policy our framers advocated for our country. We should be more like Switzlerland, neutral but an honest mediator if we're to have any involvement.

By leaving, just leave. We don't need any talks with the Taliban in Afghanistan or the Iraqis. Just leave. KISS.

However, I do not oppose providing arms for Israel otherwise they'd be crushed. Just not fighting their actual enemies with our pilots doing the bombing and our military on the ground over there. Israel has been able to fight it's own wars there to good result. Lastly, building an embassy in Iraq the size of the Vatican is a sure sign we intended all along to be a governing force in the area firmly implanting us there to meddle. That's globalism--not fighting those who attacked us on 9/11. We're friends with the home country of those hijackers. As soon as you see what doesn't fit, the quicker you be onto the official lies we're told. Both parties support the same thing and do the same things.
Some of us just aren't sheep.

"Bernie frauded us once by supporting a rigged primary so people that voted for him didn't have their votes counted and took over $200 mill knowing the entire time it was rigged against him. That's the type of fraud that I want in a politician! Also, gulags for Trump voters! woo hoo!" -Bernie bros

Never trust who the media loves either.

I particularly found this line to be all I need.
The spook's choice:
Coup plotters and CIA agents fill Mayor Pete's list of national security endorsers@Cancel_Sam looks at Buttigieg's new roster of endorsements from high-ranking spies, regime-change architects, and global financiers.

https://thegrayzone.com/2019/12/30/c...ete-endorsers/
That also means, he the choice of Globalists. So he at least believes in Globalism. No wonder his campaign is linked to dark money behind that app where he got to declare victory and then move on.

That debate last night was like a parallel universe. Watching these idiots talk about how they wouldn't have taken the shot on Sulemani was surreal. What nation are they living in that they think apologizing for killing bad guys flies with voters? These guys are going to be very upset in November.

Sanders Gains in Two Deep South States
On Predictit.

The complete end of Biden is near. Buttigieg is priced nationally at 17 cents on the strength of Iowa. However, at almost 5-1 odds, his prospects are questionable. Bloomberg, at 22 cents, has passed Buttigieg.

Sanders now has his own version of “deplorables”.
By saying “We have a racist society from top to bottom” and adding “health care, housing, criminal justice, education — you name it,” Sanders loses votes in the November contest, even if he gains votes among Democrats now.
Guess that makes him the most inclusive of candidates by including ALL Americans as racist now.

Sanders may have shifted his position on race relations in America. Sanders, following socialist/communist ideology, has typically associated racism with the economic results of capitalism. He has associated racism with an economic basis. His latest remark is something of a shift by speaking of a “racist society”. The emphasis moves to society, not just economics.

By this shift, Sanders now views Americans themselves as imbued with racism. It’s in their souls, not only the product of capitalist institutions. This is a Sanders version of “deplorables”. In left-wing Democrat thought, deplorables are marked by their racism. Sanders now condemns our whole society as peopled by racists and deplorables...

There’s plenty of time left in the nominating process for Sanders to shoot himself in the foot, and that’s what he’s starting to do...

[This is out of order from the article] Sanders has retreated to 44 cents from his 48 cent high. Bloomberg now has the lead in Florida, and he has risen to 23 cents. These are worrying signs for Sanders that brake his momentum.

I have kids in a very wide spread of age groups. So much that they actually fall into different demographics. When I see what they (and their circles) post on social media it looks like they are getting more and more disillusioned with the Dem party. None of them cared for Trump. But they also didn't like Hillary at all. They liked Bernie, but they thought he was a crazy old **** with stupid ideas that wouldn't work. Well...the Dems are really blowing it right now. From what I am seeing they are pretty much throwing away the next POTUS election.

* Upon Edit: The only people I am seeing who are strongly supporting what the Dems are putting out there are some old die hard partisan Baby Boomers.
