Props to Spags & The D

We didn't do real great against the run but we played a good game. Jackson got 2 TD's that were the result of plays that were nothing more than just plain LUCK! And one was a push off that didn't get called.

Key parts of the game:

Clark gets the sack at a crucial time
2, not 1 but 2 or even 3(?), 2-pt conversions stopped
Contained a very mobile QB in Jackson
Passing game for the Ravens was mostly luck. Coverage was there all game.

I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Need to tighten it up on the run a bit but the Ravens are a great running team. Keep improving and we have a solid middle of the pack defense.

Yeah, we got "exposed"...

They still need to go through tackling drills a few times.

They allowed 13 points through three quarters and only allowed a couple scores when the game was largely over. I might suggest your expectations are unreasonable.

He did make a good play knifing through and wrapping up Jackson's legs on the first 2-point attempt, I'll give him that. He still sucks though.

The one on the goal line...fine, looked like OPI but it never should have been completed.

I saw a LOT of piss poor tackling, a lot of guys assuming the tackle was made only to have Ingram go for a few more yards.

Look, I still think the D was better most of the time, but when they were bad, they were lose the game bad. We still roll with our offense and hope the defense won't shit the bed.
Luck is part of the game. You can't blame players for bad luck. The tackling was a concern, but as far as our coverage it was their best game of the year.

This is the second time in 3 games the defense has given up 2 TD's in the 4th quarter.

Gotta get better and stop that shit. Defense is lacking a killer instinct right now.
The defense went into prevent.

Patriots have had garbage time for 3 straight weeks and not given up any TD's.

We keep playing 4th quarters like this and we will get burned eventually....so tighten it up, cut that shit out, and this defense will start looking pretty decent.

I don't think it's drills, i think it's effort. It hurts to tackle someone and you must be willing to pay the price in pain to be a good tackler. Our secondary is not motivated enough to pay that price. Coaching makes a real difference with this. I have never seen an Andy Reid team that was mean and tough.

when Reid decides the game is over he goes into turtle mode. He's been around long enough people should know this.

Game was over before halftime.

I would argue they did that way too ****ing soon. We had to get a first down in the last two minutes to seal the win...should have never come to that.

The whole 4th quarter was shit D. 15 points and all kinds of yards given up. It has to get better.

Keep playing with fire and we will get burned.

Ingram is a good back and the Ravens are a legit offense until someone breaks Lamar and he stops being the feature back in their offense. By containing his shifty lil' ass and coming up with a few plays the Chiefs won a game with playoff implications in about 14 more weeks.
Defense grade B-.

Offense looked average at best today. Yeah, they popped a couple big plays but they couldn't run it for 90% of the game. But they did manage 33 points. O-line isn't looking as good as I hoped unless the Ravens and the Raiders d-lines are really that good.
Offense grade C+
