Props to Spags & The D

We didn't do real great against the run but we played a good game. Jackson got 2 TD's that were the result of plays that were nothing more than just plain LUCK! And one was a push off that didn't get called.

Key parts of the game:

Clark gets the sack at a crucial time
2, not 1 but 2 or even 3(?), 2-pt conversions stopped
Contained a very mobile QB in Jackson
Passing game for the Ravens was mostly luck. Coverage was there all game.

I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Need to tighten it up on the run a bit but the Ravens are a great running team. Keep improving and we have a solid middle of the pack defense.

Wonder how the talking heads are going to react to this one. Last I heard most of them were thinking Jackson is the new MVP.

Brady is only gonna throw the ball 14 times when we face him. Runs all day long.

You can't call a day in which your defense gives up like 8 YPC and 4 TDs a good day. I'll give them credit for stiffening up when required, particularly on the 2-point conversions and that super crucial 4th down that completely changed the game, but Lamar Jackson is not a great passer yet. He was missing open guys all game.

We gave up 21 points. We win giving that up 100% of the time.

Unfortunately the refs missed a blatant OPI gifting them a TD

Also Lamar had at least 4 dropped INTs, essentially he was playing a truly charmed game through blind luck

Run defense still needs a lotta work, they got gashed pretty much all day

But overall this group has a much different, more scheme sound flavor to it than old man Bobs group... just make incremental strides each week, and they’ll be fine down the stretch

4th quarter they shit the bed and let the Ravens back in the game.

There were a lot of positives in the first 3 quarters.

This is the second time in 3 games the defense has given up 2 TD's in the 4th quarter.

Gotta get better and stop that shit. Defense is lacking a killer instinct right now.

Not sure "great" is the word I'd use.

Acceptable seems more reasonable.

Ward better learn how to aggressively attack the ball, and when knocking it down is just as good as a pick.

Props to Spags. Strong pass rush and coverage all day. Run defense work in progress. But Ingram is a great back.

We actually made Jackson look pretty bad despite his numbers. I'm OK with this performance.

Ward and Breeland both played well today. So did Fuller.

Honestly the entire secondary played well.
