Unless you need to watch games from other teams, it's hard to rationalize that. NFLBite.com for me. |

For the rest of the games, just sign up for a streaming service you need for just the month or months you need it or see if there is a free trial period you can use to get the game. For the netflix game, just sign up for netflix for that one month. For the espn/fox games, just sign up for a streaming cable service like sling tv for a month or free trial period. For prime, same thing. For me, this comes out to less money than paying for Youtubetv and sunday ticket. Just make sure to cancel the streaming services if you don't want to pay for them after you are done watching the chiefs. |

Oh yeah.
Been using it for years. You may have to bounce around and try a few of the different links they provide, but they're high fidelity streams. You may be about 1-3 minutes behind the live telecast, but seriously....it's free....can't have everything. I stream it off my desktop (hard wired internet connection) and just connect an HDMI to the TV. It looks just like 1080P quality for the most part and most of the time there aren't any buffering issues, but you're not immune to it, some Sundays are better than others. I will say it's incredibly important that you have a good adblocker though. I use Google Ad Block and it works well. If you don't have an ad blocker extension running, you're going to have a much worse experience. |

Living in San Diego, i almost always get all of the divisional games the Chiefs play on my local broadcast. And then primetime and sunday national games go with out saying.
At the end of the season, i probably only have to stream 3-4 games max, and it's typically against the shitty teams as it is. Much better than dropping $500 on NFLST IMO. And then i also have NFL+....so i still go back and rewatch what i want etc. |

That the Chiefs play so many prime time games is precisely why I got Sunday Ticket last season. Being local it was exhausting dealing with streams when the local broadcast was not the best option to watch. If I only needed a stream for one game at a time, such as the Chiefs, I would deal with nflbite but that’s not my situation since I watch them on antenna. But from noon to 6 pm on Sundays I’m usually wanting to watch at least two, if not three out of market games at one time. NFL is really the only thing I’m allowed or even want to justify just watching all day or whenever it’s on. Being able to reliably watch on my phone or other mobile device as needed is an additional nice perk. |

Looks like I can get Red Zone for basically $11/month. Is it worth that? Never had it.

Probably similar to Sunday Ticket but its best for the noon games, at 3pm there are typically only 3 or 4 games and they tend focus on the big name/game for the slot (ie whatever is on Fox) when there isn't much going on. If Chiefs are playing then it’s that on the main TV and RZ on 2nd TV, otherwise it’s RZ on main TV and the CBS game on 2nd TV. Last edited by sedated; 08-21-2024 at 04:30 PM.. |

I have a Surface with Win10 and a VPN option, so maybe it would work. That said, I tend to do liveaboards for trips I lead (as much as possible), so usually there's no signal. I know a lot of liveaboards are starting to install Starlink options, so it'll be interesting to see if that works in any way.

I already had YouTube TV even before they got ST. I spend enough Sunday's watching NFL, that I do want to switch to the most compelling game. More so than just redzone. So I am doing ST. But even I have my limits. I'm not signing up for multiple streaming services to watch games, I don't care how cheap. I already had Prime, so I'll turn the game on if I'm around. I don't have Peacock and ESPN+ isn't on YTTV. So I'm not watching anything that shows up there or any other streaming service you would have to sign up for. |
