I know people like to point to his TDs but in normal good NFL offenses if you give a guy the ball at the 1 or 2 yard line its really easy to score. I know for some reason that hasn't been the case for us the last couple of years though so hopefully he can help with that...but thats kinda already what Steele is for.

He hasn't lost much.

People gonna be big mad when he catches a 2-yard pass in the flat and turns it into a 20-yard gain.

He literally had 9 TDs splitting carries and had a rushing and receiving TD in the playoffs. Dude hasn’t lost one step

Every play in that highlight that was "explosive" was because he had a hole big enough to drive a truck through or had a perfectly blocked screen and only got 6-7 yards.

I'm a fan of this, its a savvy signing

He'll be good for pass pro, outlet passes, and picking up tough yards here and there

Time to bust out the Deebo section of the playbook and get some WRs some heavy work. Hell, Toney is still on a PS, go get him to carry the ball.

hopefully it was just the stink of Cleveland dragging him down, but the last time i watched Kareem play i remember thinking he looked more like 38 than 28

i'll be genuinely delighted to watch him prove me wrong

This is the equivalent of Le'veon Bell, Melvin Gordon or whatever rerun at RB the Chiefs have signed the past couple years. If Hunt gets a couple carries for a few yards, great. If he's cut in a few weeks, so be it. If the magical powers of Mahomes causes him to regain the fountain of youth and he runs for 500 yards... well Chiefs.
I'm betting it's more like Tomlinson with the Chargers. He's going to start racking up 2k yd seasons like he was eating candy!

We got a lot from RB Williams and RB McKinnon and LB Drue Tranquill and WR Toney recently that were low risk.

We missed on Josh Gordon and LeVeon Bell and a few other bombs.

None cost us a ton of money or other comp.

Hunt I view the same way..
